Moving On Up - 11

Hi everyone ! Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since the last post, but Thanksgiving came and swept up any time I had to get to this Moving Journal.

And SO MUCH has happened in the past few weeks. We are still on track for an early February opening.  Most of the paving and cementing of the outside of the building is complete. This week the final sections will be poured. All of the “walk-in” coolers have been constructed and placed and are getting cabled and piped up as I type. The walls have all been sheet rocked and most of them have begun to receive paint, and we have started tiling the retail sales floor.

Here's' shot of the future Meat/Seafood counter. They have finished tiling the wall already !

Below is the Deli service counter. As you can see the walls are being tiled there as well (they have completed since we took this shot) .

This last shot may not look exciting yet, but in less than 2 weeks, this area will be covered by a 4000sq ft awning, which will house a major focus of the new store. Here you will find fresh produce and flowers; our coffee, juice, and smoothie bar; community eating area; as well as a bike parking and information area.
